Martin’s Central Sand has been in the sand and aggregate production business for over 30 years. In 2021, they took possession of a DSC Marlin Class Dredge that needed a little TLC. As the third owners of the dredge, Breyer Martin and his team immediately reached out to DSC to partner in the task of pulling the dredge out of the water and blocking it up so the refurbishment process could begin. This two-day project was the first opportunity for DSC to work directly with Martin’s Central Sand. “Our team tends to follow a dredge throughout its lifespan,” shared John “Sonny” Lightsey, VP of Product Support for DSC Dredge, “From assembly and commissioning to proactive maintenance and training, DSC’s Product Support team provides support to our customers no matter where they are or when the need arises. No job is too small or large when it comes to ensuring a top level of customer support.”

Working with their affiliate, Fremar Corporation, they provide end-to-end solutions for materials, trucking, excavating, aggregate recycling, and project management in the regional market from their headquarters in Wichita, KS.
