RESERVE LA – DSC Dredge welcomes Garrett Lavin to the DSC Dredge Engineering team! Garrett will be interning with us, bringing his passion for computer engineering and a fresh perspective to our innovative projects.
Garrett is currently studying at LSU, pursuing his major in Computer Engineering and Science while also studying Robotics and Mathematics. As he joins our team, he stated that he is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field and expand his knowledge in dredge and controls engineering. In his own words, Garrett shares, “I’m very excited to be interning with DSC Dredge and the engineering team. To me, the most exciting aspect of this opportunity is the workflow dynamic—being able to develop new applications in the office and test them in the field later that day. The experience I will gain with the team over this summer is priceless. I’m very blessed to have such an opportunity, and I’m looking forward to my time with DSC.”

Garrett is a hobbyist and avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his friends and family every chance he gets. He is an active member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity as head of their IT Committee. Also, he and his father are eagerly watching LSU’s baseball road to Omaha.
