Reserve, LA – August 15, 2024 – DSC Dredge is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of Anthony Mocanu, a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student at Louisiana State University (LSU), as he concluded his internship with us on August 9th. Anthony’s dedication, enthusiasm, and remarkable contributions have not only earned him the title of “Outstanding Intern” but have also left a lasting impact on the team.
During his time with DSC, Anthony worked closely with Damon Gonzales, Vice President of Product Development, who guided him through various engineering projects. Anthony’s passion for the field and his commitment to excellence were evident in every task he undertook, demonstrating a keen understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a drive to innovate.
Reflecting on his experience, Anthony shared, “My internship at DSC Dredge has been an incredible journey of learning and growth. The hands-on experience and the opportunity to work alongside industry experts like Damon Gonzales have been invaluable. I’m grateful for the support and mentorship I received, which has greatly shaped my approach to engineering.”
Damon Gonzales, who mentored Anthony throughout the internship, expressed his pride in Anthony’s achievements, saying, “Anthony has been a standout intern from the start. His ability to tackle complex challenges with creativity and determination is truly commendable. I have no doubt that he will continue to excel in his academic and professional pursuits, and I look forward to seeing where his career takes him.”
