Position Responsibilities
- Helps coordinate perpetual cycle counting efforts.
- Reports, monitors and reviews inventory adjustments and changes.
- Resolves inventory discrepancies, problem orders and intercompany transfer issues.
- Processes and resolves product quality issues in collaboration with other departments.
- Assists with product inventory and stocking level changes and concerns.
- Makes recommendations to minimize supplier invoice discrepancies.
- Pulls items inside the warehouse for necessary jobs.
- Stocks inventory items as necessary.
- Assists in itemizing shipments received for production.
- Communicates with vendors as needed (i.e., tracking shipments, ordering supplies, etc.)
- Operates hand trucks, forklifts and various handling equipment to move materials to and from trucks and within storage facility.
- Receives, unloads, and processes incoming shipments.
- Selects, retrieves, prepares, and loads items for shipping.
- Prepares and maintains documentation associated with shipping/receiving and the management of inventory.
- Maintains good housekeeping within the warehouse and the shipping & receiving area.
- Ensures shipment accuracy.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures and work practices. Leads by example.
- Controls costs and achieves productivity improvements as directed.
- Maintains “on call” status every other week responding to shipment needs for customers, Part Sales and Field Services
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 + years of experience in warehouse operation, inventory management, or a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems, or basic computer skills
- Must be able to successfully pass all pre-employment testing (drug test, physical screening) in addition to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
