Vision Installation Technician

About This Position

The DSC Vision Installation Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, and maintaining DSC Vision systems at client locations. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and technical support teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of DSC Vision products. The Installation Technician plays a critical role in providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

  • Installation and Setup. Install and configure DSC Vision systems at client sites, including System enclosures, sensors, mounting brackets, sonars, and other components.
  • Ensure proper wiring, connections, and integration with existing
  • Testing and Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to verify functionality and identify any issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to DSC Vision
  • Customer Interact with clients to provide on-site training, explain system features, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach at all
  • Documentation and Complete detailed installation reports, including equipment used, configurations, and any customizations made.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation to both internal teams and
  • Compliance and Ensure installations comply with industry standards, local codes, and DSC’s installation guidelines.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in the systems industry.
  • Maintenance and Perform routine maintenance tasks on DSC Vision systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct system upgrades and apply firmware updates as
  • Collaboration with Coordinate with project managers, technical support, and sales teams to ensure accurate scheduling and delivery of installations.
