Custom Dredge Works 18” X 18” (450mm) cutter suction dredge “General Pershing” built in 2016. Dredge is in good working condition, is located in Galveston, Texas, and is available for immediate sale and deployment. The purchase of this dredge is restricted by market and location. This unit features 44’ (13m) dredging depth. The Pearce 18”x18”x40” in-hull main dredge pump is powered by a Caterpillar C32 rated 1,124 HP and the hydraulic system is powered by a Caterpillar C13 rated 440 HP. The cutter is a 43” ID cutter with wide chisel teeth and is rated at 150 HP. The dredge is fitted with a 20’ x 80’ booster barge as well as a 31’ x 40’ carriage barge. The booster barge is equipped with a 8,000-gallon diesel above-deck fuel storage tank and a booster station with a Pearce 18”x18”x40” booster pump powered by a CAT C32 diesel engine rated at 1,125 HP. Both the booster carriage barges are configured utilizing standard Flexi-Float style barge sections and easily dismantled for shipment.
